Got on the water about 11;40. Wind was WNW so a bit offshore and a ~100 yard wind shadow. Tried a 4.7m first which was about right, even though it ws a bit up and down. Wind dropped a bit so i changed up to 5.2m which was perfect size. Some nice runs, and quite a few gybes came off, though a many were a bit desperate. it was nice running in and out, bit if a chore heading for the flat water inshore and discovering it was the wind shadow. I packed up as the wind seemed to be dropping, then saw it pick up nicely and move West. O dear, but I had to get home and fix my trailer anyway. A couple of hours on the water, nice start to March. About 10 out, and 4 were felixstowe regulars. Where were all the others, usally more there?
